ARTIST
Kristine believes that everyone has a bit of artistry and creativity in them. As an artist, Kristine creates mixed-media resin paintings which captures a moment of time on canvas. Using her background in textile design and development, Kristine deconstructs inks and dyes on a flat surface in layers with several coats of resin. Art is something that has always been a part of Kristine’s life - even before attending art school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Not only does Kristine curate color, print and patterns and concepts, she is a recognized art curator. Her expertise is in contemporary art and working with emerging artists. Kristine is an advocate for all artists of all mediums and backgrounds have an opportunity to be seen and carefully curated in a meaningful and impactful way. Kristine is on the Advisory Board and is the Exhibitions Director for Art Fair 14C, where she gets to curate artworks from emerging, mid-career and established artists.
MK APOTHECARY
Kristine is the Co-Founder of MK Apothecary, a contemporary art gallery based in Collingswood, NJ. She and her partner, Michael Aguirre, restored and renovated an historic pharmacy building and transformed it into an art gallery. MK Apothecary is an art gallery that connects artists with art buyers by exhibiting contemporary artists at art fairs, online and in physical art gallery settings. The goal is to give artists a platform to showcase their work and for buyers to feel good about buying original artwork. The gallery is run by artists who believe that art and design are essential parts of our lives. MK Apothecary is focused on selling and exhibiting artwork of various styles and mediums to provide a diverse experience for all. The gallery opened May 2019 and is located in Collingswood, NJ. Kristine is a member of the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD) and the gallery participates in domestic and international art fairs: Art Fair 14C and Aqua Art Miami.
