The retail industry has high demands of creative people and there is limited time to know where to look for the next big idea. There are also those who want to enter the creative field and don't know where to begin or don't have the big corporate budgets available for proper trend research. I believe that resources need to be accessible to those who need it, period. We all need some inspiration to generate new ideas.
In 2014, I launched Pattern Curator as a visual blog feed of free mood boards focused on color, print and pattern inspiration. Those mood boards got shared and re-posted....a lot.
From a free blog, it has evolved into a trend subscription site, print studio , creative consulting (and soon to be retail) business that services a diverse collection of clients from design professionals in the apparel and home industry to the individual with a personal creative enrichment project.
